We have several specialized wards for the care of children and adolescents of all ages.
The „Obere Station“ is situated in the 1st floor. Children above the age of 1 year are admitted, mostly with neurological, urological endocrine or infectious diseases.
The „S 1“ or „Säuglingsstation“ (street level) is the ward for infants of less than one year of age. In addition, premature newborns are cared for on the “S 1”.
The „Gartenstation“ (situated in the lower level with access to our playing ground and the garden) is specialized in pulmonary and allergic diseases as well as in diabetes. Of course, all other children can also be treated here.
The „Tagesklinik“ (street level) is a day-clinic for children of any age and has opening hours between 8 AM and 4.30 PM. Only children with diseases that do not mandate over-night treatment can be treated in the Tagesklinik.
The Intensive-Care Unit for neonates is located next to the OB/Gyn department in the “Städtisches Klinikum”. Here, sick newborns are treated, including all modern treatment modalities of intensive care medicine.
